Some bad news has recently come of the recently reformed Outkast camp. Big Boi delivered a disappointing revelation in a recent interview.
It might seem like a no-brainer to believe that when a band announces 40 festival dates in celebration of a 20th anniversary that the event may culminate with at the very least some new material, if not an entirely new album. Well, despite what you believe or may have heard, it will not be happening! This is coming straight from the mouth of Big Boi, who said; “no, no, no. We’re just doing the tour only, just for the fans. That’s all it is, just the tour.”
Sure the fans are not going to be happy about the lack of new music but… there is still reason to celebrate. In addition to the tour each member is working on solo material and Big Boi will release a Game of Thrones inspired mix tape which will be out soon.
