Kate Nash, the pop/punk songstress has unleashed news of a quick North American jaunt this spring with stops thrown in at Coachella 2014.
Not one to skimp, Kate has also let loose a new video for “Sister”, a song from her latest release, Girl Talk. The stand-out track really benefits from a really solid music video – quite the pairing.
Nash is currently in LA, working on a Broadway musical and several film projects, but fans of her music can expect to see a fair amount her this April. On the subject of her newly all-female band:
Working with an all-girl band has been incredibly liberating as well as being brilliant fun. I really believe in women being able to be whatever they want to be. We don’t have to be one-dimensional. I can be sensitive. I can be angry. I can do a song that is screaming and then add a backing vocal that is really sweet. I’ve never been one thing and I refuse to allow people or the music industry to try and define me otherwise.
