NPR Music has announced the lineup for its 2014 SXSW showcase this March, and it has something for everyone.
Performing at NPR Music’s showcase will be Damon Albarn of Blur and Gorillaz, St. Vincent, Kelis and Perfect Pussy. Albarn will be playing music from his forthcoming solo album, Everyday Robots, St. Vincent will play tracks from her new self-titled album, Kelis will be performing songs from her upcoming album Food and Perfect Pussy’s debut album,Say Yes to Love will be released March 18, less than a week after the showcase.
The opening night showcase, which will be held at Stubb’s in Austin, will not only be available to festival-goers, but also will be streamed online so folks at home can watch. Video and audio will be available through NPR’s music page, the NPR Music app and local public radio stations. It will take place on Wednesday, March 12.
