Chic Featuring Nile Rodgers & Giorgio Moroder, Destructo and Oliver Set to Play The Hollywood Bowl in May 2014

King of funk and disco Nigel Rodgers (of Chic) and producer Giorgio Moroder will be playing together at Hardfest’s Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles this May.

Grammy Award winning Nigel Rodgers, acknowledged as a legend of disco and co-founder of Chic, together with Italian DJ Giorgio Moroder’s spots in the lineup bode for a funkified Hardfest at the Hollywood Bowl. Both titans already worked together on the critically acclaimed Daft Punk Album, Random Access Memories, and will be headlining the date supported by Destructo, Oliver, and Tensnake. Fans can expect a night full of disco house, funky beats, and futuristic EDM to electrify their ears. Tickets go on sale Friday.

Moroder is also set to Perform at Pitchfork Festival as well as Moogfest, all the while collaborating on new music with Nile Rogers. At 62 and 70 respectively, the future remains exciting for these legendary musicians despite their older age.
