Austin’s local indie folk pop band, Wild Child, is going on a national spring tour with Robert Ellis. Their debut album, Pillow Talk, was released in 2011. Currently, they are signed to The Noise Company, and recently released their second album, The Runaround. Ben Kweller, another local, helped on the production of their latest album.
Wild Child was named the best indie band and best folk band of 2013 SXSW Music Festival by the Austin Chronicle. Wild Child has been the supporting act for the John Butler Trio, which helped the band raise up to their current fame. Their song “Pillow Talk” has gained over 130,000 views on YouTube. Wild Child has made appearances on Last Call with Carson Daly, AXS Live and PBS.
Wild Child will be offering a pre-show meet and greet and acoustic performance each night before a scheduled show at a specified location or at the venue for that night’s performance. A representative from the band will reach out with further instructions and with a specific time to meet at the venue. The pre-show meet and greet costs an additional $20.
