Future Islands recently brought their soul-drenched live show to The Center for the Arts in Eagle Rock. It’s been two years since the Baltimore trio played LA and with the aid of a newly recruited live drummer and forthcoming album Singles on indie powerhouse 4AD, Samuel Herring and company did not disappoint the sold-out crowd. The band gracefully showcased new tracks “Seasons (Waiting On You)” and “One Day” and old favorites like “Tin Man” and “Balance.” For the encore, Samuel asked for the house lights to be turned on as the group closed their set with “Little Dreamer.”
