This week Nine Inch Nails is streaming a new EP to help front man, Trent Reznor, launch a new streaming service called “Beats Music”. The EP includes 4 thunderous remixes from their previous album Hesitation Marks.
The remix EP, is titled Seed Eight and will be streamed exclusively through Beats Music. Reznor, the creative director on the project, is including remixes from Hot Chip, Cold Cave, Autolux, and Simian Mobile Disco. On a related note, Nine Inch Nails closed the Grammys last night playing a collaborative piece with Queens of the Stone, Dave Grohl and Lindsey Buckingham. This is the second recent national spotlight for the group as Rexnor will be working with Atticus Ross on the score for David Finch’s new movie Gone Girl. The duo won an Oscar for their previous work together on 2011’s The Social Network.
