The Notwist are letting the cat out of the bag with the first single off their upcoming album Close To The Glass, which is due February 25. Too bad there’s not a fitting idiom for the track, which is called “Kong”.
The German indie outfit are gearing up for their first release with the famed Sub Pop Records. The recently announced Close To The Glass is currently available for pre-order, with an instant download of “Kong” as incentive. Alternatively, those who pre-order the vinyl release from the Sub Pop website will receive the “Loser Edition” of the album, printed on colored vinyl. Heavy decisions for fans in the remaining time before release day. One easy decision exists though, and that is to check out “Kong”.
