After their five year hiatus, Qui are certainly not making a quiet comeback. They’ve come roaring back into action with a video for their excellent new track “Whateryadoin?”, an advance arrival from their upcoming album, Life, Water, Living…. Alert!
After a tour of Iraq, guitarist/vocalist Matt Cronk returned home and spent the better part of a year writing with Paul Christensen. Though David Yow’s vocals will be missing from this album (only because of scheduling difficulties), the group says that future collaborations are a strong possibility. The upcoming Live, Water, Living… was previously heralded by the release of the video for “Mucho Sex in America”, another must-watch video. Life, Water, Living… is due February 25 and will be available in LP, CD and digital formats. Also to come are some tour dates with Moistboyz.
