We’re not convinced that “hangout” carries enough impact, but we’ll deal with it. Heck, call the festival whatever you like, we’ll still want to go – it’s featuring OutKast, the Black Keys, QOTSA, The Killers, and more. Yep, this one’s huge.
For three days this May, Gulf Shores, Alabama will turn from a tiny coastal tourist town to a global music hotspot. And if the music isn’t enough to tempt you (though lord knows why you’d be reading this if that’s the case), then maybe the location is. The Hangout Fest sticks you firmly on the beach, then surrounds you with seafood. Come for the music, stay for the shrimp – or vice versa.
And yes, you can totally get married there. They have a chapel.
Grab your tickets for this one while you still can. The Hangout festival caps out at a whopping 35,000 attendees, but those generally disappear the moment they become available. Ticketing link below, and we’d suggest cllicking it ASAP. Festival headliners include Southern Rap innovators OutKast, rock outfits the Black Keys and the Queens of the Stone Age. Further down, you’ll run into names like Zedd, Black Lips, and Bastille. Full list below.
