If you’re flying to LAX you might have a look of the eccentricity only Los Angeles is capable of: supporting their january shows, the legendary Eagles make honor to their biggest hit and provide californians with the largest vinyl ever
After purchasing Inglewood, CA’s iconic Forum in 2012, the Madison Square Garden Company is making sure the inversion pays back, the action taken: booking The Eagles for a six-in-a-row reminiscence event were -I bet- no seats will be left empty. To commemorate the occasion, a 407-foot vinyl replica of ‘Hotel California’ was constructed to sit atop the venue. A 75-member crew was in charge of the massive task, and massive it is, the structure covers 5.6 acres; Here’s for some perspective: it covers 4.5 football fields and it actually spins!, yes, it SPINS at a rate of 17 MPH. The vinyl will be up from January until the first week of February.
If your curious on how you can start making your own over-the-top tribute, here’s the promo clip on how they made it
