Nina Persson Announces New Album Animal Heart for February 2014 Release

Former lead singer of swedish pop band the Cardigans Nina Persson announces date of her debut album ‘Animal Hart’ via The End Records

Best known for interpreting super hits as Lovefool with the Cardigans back in the 90’s, Persson has been keeping herself busy as a solo artist and amazing lyricist. She released two albums under the name A Camp, appeared on Serge Gainsbourg’s tribute album, participated on Mark Linkou’s Sparklehorse collaboration with Danger Mouse ‘The Night of the Soul’ as well as performed a few reunion shows with the Cardigans, (who recently got into a legal dispute with swedish rock band The Hives).

The promotional single, named as the album, comes paired with a beautifully crafted long-shot video sequence which portraits a ‘normal’ day in Persson’s life on her way to get some milk. Check out the video for ‘Animal Heart’ below:
