Hell yes Hellfest. Any readers lucky enough to be in France this Summer should straighten up and take notice. This is one of the most ridiculous lineups we’ve ever seen.
Seriously, what does it say about an announcement when you have to squint to see names like Sepultura and Queensryche. And lord…the headliners. Wow. It’s three days of mayhem over in Clisson, France. Headliners include Iron Maiden, Rob Zombie, Soundgarden, Avenged Sevenfold and so many more. Actually many more, we’re not exaggerating. It’s basically a rogue’s gallery of every band you’ve ever headbanged to.
Not that expectations weren’t high. Hellfest has consistenly been one of the greatest draws of hardcore and metal acts on earth. So much so that it actually caught some governmental attention. Right-wing and Christian groups – and politicians courting them – have taken shots at the unfortunately-named bash for years, though to mercifully little effect. Full lineup and ticket link below.
