Your favorite Canadian electronic six-piece has just let loose a new video for their single “Forgive Me”.
“Forgive Me” comes off the band’s latest release, Olympia, which also produced the single “Painful Like”. Taking their cue from early Chicago house music, the group performed the song live in the studio without the aid of loops or programming. This song has all the expected qualities of the group’s work: subdued groove, nice background vocals and Stelmanis’ wild vocal vibrato. Classically trained frontwoman Katie Stelmanis said of the video:
A night vision camera captures life in a dark park. Among the hidden corners and leaf-covered hideaways, people purge and absolve their sins through sexual liberation. We highlight a romance between a man and a woman who seek forgiveness from each-other: the only forgiveness that is of any importance.
