Born Neil Fraser, the UK-based dub producer has had a prolific career in reggae/dub originals as well as remixes and collaborations with other artists. Mad Professor began his professional career during the 80’s as a part of the movement known as the second generation of dub, an electronic subgenre with its roots in reggae. His twelve-part Dub Me Crazy series is essential listening, drawing its material from the farthest reaches of the galaxy of audio recordings. “The Roots of Dubstep Tour” is a most fitting title indeed.
