Fred Armisen’s salty punk rock character Ian Rubbish sat down with real life punk legends Paul Simonon and Mick Jones in a recent clip for Funny or Die.
Ian Rubbish made his television debut back in April on a faux SNL documentary featuring the Sex Pistols’ Steve Jones about his fictitious 1970’s punk rock band The Bizarros. Amisen’s aging, Margaret Thatcher loving punk character was quite a hit, and he put out Best of Ian Rubbish EP shortly thereafter.
Well, Rubbish is back, and this time he bagged punk legends Mick Jones and Paul Simonon of The Clash to have have a chat and accompany him on a live rendition of his song “Hey Policeman.” Check out the Funny or Die clip below.
