Jersey punk rock group Screaming Females has released a song off of their upcoming split EP and announced their fall 2013 tour dates.
The 7″ EP will include the Screaming Females song “Ancient Civilization,” which is currently available to stream, as well as Tenement’s “I Wouldn’t Let You Go.” “Ancient Civilization” is a bold, straightforward punk song, with blunt vocals and a screamingly simple guitar line throughout. The song lives up to the band’s roots and will hopefully mean there is more to come. In the meantime, the group has announced a tour starting in November that will cross the U.S. and even jet up to British Columbia.
