Australian phenomenon, Cut Copy, have just released a new video for their track “Free Your Mind.” The video features True Blood’s Alexander Skarsgard and was directed by Christopher Hill. Watch the video.

Cut Copy has become a staple in music festivals worldwide, having been born out of Australia in 2001. With the recent announcement of their upcoming album , Free Your Mind, being released just next month, fans can get excited about their new video featuring Alexander Skarsgard of True Blood.
In this video directed by Christopher Hill, Cut Copy’s new song “Free Your Mind” is the sonic landscape for the day-in-the-life plot following a cult leader (Skarsgard) in rural country side. Alexander is a ‘free-spirited,’ shirtless, eccentric, and at moments, nearly naked leader of this bizarre, contradictory cult. With a natural landscape, there is a consistent picture of people being trained (maybe even hypnotized) by technology-centric accessories. A strange site, matched perfectly with Cut Copy’s synthetic, expansive, yet natural musical composition, with the repeated phrase of ‘free your mind.’ Watch the video below.
