Depeche Mode played the second of three sold out shows at the Staples Center in Los Angeles Sunday night. The British pioneers are touring in support of their latest record Delta Machine. “Welcome To My World” opened the show, as frontman Dave Ganan welcomed the crowd with Jagger-like hip thrusts that continued well into their set. Favorites like “Walking in My Shoe,” “Barrel of a Gun” and “Personal Jesus” echoed all the way up the nose-bleeds atop the massive downtown arena. Acoustic renditions of “Home” and “Shake the Disease” by founding member and guitarist Martin Gore began their encore. The band finished their set with dance classics “Just Can’t Get Enough” and “Never Let Me Down Again.”
