Sub Pop Announce Reissue of Soundgarden’s Screaming Life/Fopp EP Set for November 2013

Sub Pop Records is doing a reissue of Soundgarden’s 1990 compilation, Screaming Life/Fopp EP, with tracks from the Sub Pop 200 sessions, on November 26.

This will be the first time that the tracks will be available for digital download and their first time on vinyl since the late-1980s pressings. The tracks have been remastered by Seattle’s Jack Endino, who produced the original Screaming Life and Sub Pop 200 sessions.

The members of the grunge band have been fairly busy lately, each of them doing separate projects. Vocalist Chris Cornell is on a solo tour in North America this fall, with portion of the ticket proceeds going to the ChildHaven Creative Music Therapy Program. Bassist Ben Shepherd released a solo album of his own in August, entitled In Deep Owl. Drummer Matt Cameron joined forces with Hella’s Zach Hill and Sleater-Kinney’s Janet Weiss for a drummer supergroup called Drumgasm.
