New York’s CBGB Music & Film Festival has announced a free concert in Times Square on Saturday, October 12th, featuring bands such as My Morning Jacket, Grizzly Bear, Atlas Genius, and more.
For its second year, the festival named after famed NYC punk venue, CBGB’s, will host a week-long event with bands playing in venues throughout NYC. For the topper to the festival, Saturday October 12th will see a massive concert in Times Square with well-known bands and DJs will perform on multiple outdoor stages. There will also be a music equipment expo, a skateboard half-pipe, rock climbing, a record fair, a silent disco and dozens of other attractions filling Times Square to entertain people of all ages.
