TEEN is sorry. Really sorry – incredibly sorry, at least half the words in their new song are “sorry”. Why? Who knows, hopefully not for the lovely bit of hazy pop they just pumped out. “Big Talk” is up and streaming. Read on, and give it a listen.

Are family acts coming back into vogue? Like fellow up-and-comers Haim, TEEN features the three sisters Lieberson, and bassist Jane Herships, who is probably sick of mediating sibling arguments. The band’s most recent release, Carolina, won itself some serious fans both on and off our site.
If “Big Talk” sounds like it would fall nicely into place on Carolina, that’s likely because the new single was recorded during studio sessions for the album. No idea why it didn’t make the grade, but it’s here now, and as fine a piece of sugar-blitzed pop as you’re likely to find. Listen and enjoy:
