WATCH: Fan Footage of Mumford & Sons and The Vaccines Performing “Down on the Corner” with CCR’s John Fogerty

After an unfortunate complication with the band Fun. pulling out of a show on Mumford & Sons’ fall tour, John Fogerty of Creedance Clearwater Revival stepped in to perform. His backing band? Members of The Vaccines and Mumford & Sons themselves.

Though Fun. was forced to cancel due to lead singer Nate Ruess’ vocal health issues, the September 14th Mumford & Sons and The Vaccines show in St. Augustine, Florida, was certainly worth attending. Classic rock legend John Fogerty took the stage last minute to form the super group with The Vaccines and Mumford & Sons for one night only. Reportedly, the motley crew performed many of CCR’s hits, including “Bad Moon Rising,” “Down On The Corner,” “Proud Mary,” “Lodi” and “Have You Ever Seen The Rain.”

Mumford & Sons have shown their love for classics before, having performed The Beatles’ “With A Little Help From My Friends”. They also released the video for their new song Hopeless Wanderer before starting their fall tour.
