Yep, you read correctly – Eddie Murphy and Snoop [insert animal of choice] have teamed up and released a single. Have a listen to the new track, “Red Light”, inside.
Just last week comic actor and occasional musician Eddie Murphy unveiled a surprising new single with help from Snoop Lion. Unlike his previous three tracks, which align more closely with current R&B trends, “Red Light” is full-on, Bob Marley-styled reggae. The track features Murphy handling vocals and electric guitar over a breezy groove, with occasional interjections from Snoop.
Murphy initially announced the new release via his twitter account, accompanied by the news that he is gearing up to release an LP, titled 9:

Although Murphy has not yet disclosed a date on which we can expect the new album, an official video for “Red Light” will be coming out on September 9th. Stream the new track, below.
