Electronic artist Moby and the Flaming Lips’ Wayne Coyne collaborated on “The Perfect Life,” a track featured on Moby’s upcoming album, Innocents, due out October 1.
The video follows the two musicians as they walk around, dressed in mariachi gear, looking for misfits to join them in their search of the perfect life. They attract many “happy weirdos,” as SPIN refers to them, including a burlesque dancer and a group of rollerskating ghosts.

In addition to this track, Moby’s latest LP will feature a song with Skylar Grey and a few other collaborations. The electronic musician made headlines earlier this year when he announced that he would offer his music free of charge to independent filmmakers via a website called MobyGratis.
Moby isn’t the only one who has his plate full right now – Wayne Coyne has been working on his first comic book, The Sun Is Sick. The Flaming Lips released a video for “Turning Violent,” a track from their album Terror, and took part in covering The Stone Roses‘ debut album with artists like Ke$ha, Polica and Stardeath and White Dwarfs.
