Rock supergroup Tomahawk performed at the For Noise Festival in France, which took place from August 22 to August 24 this year.
The band released its fourth album, Oddfellows, in January of 2013 and has been on tour in the United States and Europe this summer. The tour ends in Germany on September 6, at the Berlin Festival. One of Tomahawk’s stops earlier this summer was for performance on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon. It happened to be the group’s television debut as well.
Tomahawk’s members all hail from other bands. Lead vocalist Mike Patton was in Mr. Bungle and Faith No More, guitarist Duane Denison was in The Jesus Lizard, drummer John Stanier played in Helmet and bass player Kevin Rutmanis was a part of Cows and Melvins. A Faith No More fan shared a YouTube video of Tomahawk’s festival performance on Twitter.
