Janelle Monae has unveiled the plans for her upcoming North American tour in anticipation of her album The Electric Lady.
The much anticipated album is set for release on September 10th. Inspired by raw and personal experience, Monae’s The Electric Lady will follow her debut Archandroid released in 2010.
The Electric Lady is available for preorder as a two-disc version that features four bonus tracks. This version can be purchased exclusively at Target. Preorders are also available through the iTunes store as well as Monae’s website at www.jmonae.com.
Monae has just revealed her new single “PrimeTime Feat. Miguel” which can be viewed on her website. This single has big shoes to fill following Monae’s hit releases “Q.U.E.E.N.” and “Dance Apocalyptic.”

Monae’s North American headline tour will begin October 13th in Philadelphia coming to a close in late November. There will be additional tour dates continuing through 2014 to be announced soon.
Tickets will become available for most venues on Friday, August 23rd.
