Ministry has just released a video for the new track “PermaWar,” featured on their upcoming album From Beer to Eternity. The album is scheduled to release September 10th via AFM/13th Planet Records.
The 13th studio album for Ministry, From Beer to Eternity, holds special significance with the passing of Rigor Mortis’ Mike Scaccia. Scaccia finished 18 rough tracks with Ministry just three days before his death in December 2012. Not only does this album pay tribute to a great musician, it is also rumored to be Ministry’s final album. Fans have also been eagerly anticipating the arrival of From Beer to Eternity, especially since there has been talk of a collaboration with Trent Reznor and the unlikely Lil’ Wayne.
With the release of his tell-all autobiography, Ministry and frontman Al Jourgensen are pushing full steam ahead, now with the debut of “PermaWar.” This is the first video released for Ministry’s upcoming album and features direction by filmmaker/animator Zach Passero. “PermaWar” is a stimulating experience, with a gripping track, acid trip effects, and dark political characters depicting the endless cycle that is war.
