Watch as porcelain figurines perform melancholy pirouettes in a dreary new video for Kim Deal’s teardrop of a song, “Are You Mine?”
Since her secession from the Pixies in June, Kim Deal has put bass to grindstone, releasing a slew of solo 7-inch singles. Meanwhile, her short-lived early ’90s band, the Breeders, celebrated their 20th anniversary with a reissue of Last Splash, which is also set for vinyl release come September 2, AND a full front-to-back (PLUS bonus material) live reunion tour. It was recently announced that their August 27 and 28 performances in San Francisco will also include performances of their 1990 debut album Pod.
All that said, the third and most recent 7-inch includes “Are You Mine?” backed with “Wish I Was” and is available through Deal’s website. Grab your Ben & Jerry’s and check out the video below!
