Shaun White’s Bad Things Announce New Self-Titled Album Set for October 2013 Release

Los Angeles rockers Bad Things have announced their debut self-titled album, which will be out October 8.

The band consists of vocalist Davis LeDuke, bassist Jared Palomar, guitarist Anthony Sanundo, drummer Lena Zawaideh, and lead guitarist Shaun White—of snowboarding and skateboarding fame. Interestingly, he has branched out into a music career as well.

Still, in spite of White’s fame, the band does not want to be solely associated with his previous successes, and hopes to be known for their solid performances and musical skill rather than simply for their guitarist’s athletic history.

Bad Things played a surprise set recently at Chicago’s Lollapalooza; then, a few days later, they took the stage at Montreal’s Osheaga, wowing audiences. Their music has been critically acclaimed thus far.

The first single off the album, “Anybody,” can be heard below.

A cover, straight from Lollapalooze, of Iggy and the Stooges’ “Search and Destroy” is also available to view on YouTube.
