Former Sonic Youth co-founder Kim Gordon has been busy with her latest group, Body/Head, and the duo recently announced a short U.S. tour for this fall.
The noise rock duo, consisting of Gordon and Bill Nace, announced Body/Head double album earlier this year. Coming Apart is set to be released in September. Pitchfork reports that they are going on tour this fall in support of the forthcoming album.
Gordon’s marriage with Thurston Moore, her Sonic Youth co-founder, ended in 2011, along with the band. Since then, Gordon and Nace have been hard at work on Body/Head and their first album together. Though tour dates are limited, fans can still see the duo live in several U.S. cities this fall.
