Los Angeles singer-songwriter Juliette Commagere debuted her new song, “Big Star,” on Interview Magazine’s website earlier today.
Commagere, former keytar player for Hello Stranger, began her impressive solo career in 2008. In only five years she has already performed with Maynard James Keenan’s project Puscifer, opened for big name musicians like Air, Foo Fighters and Ry Cooder, and even contributed vocals to some of Cooder’s records. She announced plans for a new album, Human, earlier this year in January, but so far there has been no follow-up. That is, until she dropped this single.
The release of this song is hopefully a sign that a new LP is still in the works. “Big Star” is an etherial track inspired by a childhood book about a unicorn. Check it out streaming over at Interview Magazine.
