Break out the washboard, Reverend Peyton’s Big Damn Band is going on tour, and they’re bringing Shooter Jennings along. Steel guitars, Southern pride, and Peyton’s enormous beard will all be on display come September – grab your tickets and saddle up.
Relentless tourers, the Big Damn Band hit the road again, playing shows across the South and Midwest. If you haven’t heard of them, do yourself a favor and check them out. “Hipster Hoedown” may come closest to describing the band’s energetic take on country blues. Joining them is country bad-boy Shooter Jennings, coming off his March release of Other Life. Known for his pedigree – Jennings is the only child of country music legend Waylon Jennings – and his uncompromisingly traditional take on music, Jennings brings a snarling vibe normally absent in the Big Damn Band. Should be interesting; tour dates below.
