French musician Oliver Libaux has released a video for Inara George’s ambitious, delicate, and utterly feminine reworking of the song “No One Knows,” originally by Queens of the Stone Age—and entirely reinvented by Libaux’s unique insight.
On the recently released album Uncovered Queens of the Stone Age, Libaux initially set out to recreate select tracks from the Queens’ illustrious discography and pair them with suitable female artists who could sing the songs in new and interesting ways. The result is absurdly beautiful, poignant, and something altogether unexpected for fans of the heavier band’s work.
