Punk-rap act, Death Grips, have disclosed a new plan of action after suffering a nasty breakup with their former record label, Epic, last year.
Since dropping off the map after Epic Records leaked NO LOVE DEEP WEB and shared private internal letters on Facebook, Death Grips have finally announced what they plan to do next. According to a press release, the group will not be opting out of record deals entirely, but will instead be launching Thirdworlds – “the band’s own label imprint created via a very unique relationship with Harvest/Capitol, to be distributed by Caroline.” Death Grips have also announced that they have a new LP in the works, which is tentatively scheduled for release in 2014. Hopefully this new-found relationship will prove more functional than the last.
