Athens Georgia art-rockers of Montreal announce October 8th release date of their upcoming album lousy with sylvianbriar. This is their first release since last years’ Paralytic Stalks.
Known for their constant shift in styles and creative direction, of Montreal are continuing to transform their sound with lousy with sylvianbriar. The album was recorded in creative lead’s Kevin Barnes’ home studio in Athens, Georgia without any computer involvement to a 24-track tape machine. The opening track, “Fugitive Air” is being used as the lead single to promote the album. Check out the track streaming below as well as the album’s tracklisting.
