The Grove Summer Concert Series is right around the corner, and Vancouver-based indie rock band, Said The Whale, have been selected to open for LA’s electro-pop rock duo, Capital Cities.
Since releasing their first EP Taking Abalonia in 2007, Said the Whale have release nine EPs and three full-length albums. The group was also honored with a Juno Award in 2011 for New Group of the Year, and performed in Washington’s Sasquatch! Music Festival in the summer of 2012. Said The Whale is now thrilled to announce their participation in LA’s annual Grove Summer Concert Series – a festival which features four free nights of live performances from artists across jazz, country, rock and pop. This year’s festival will take place in The Park at The Grove on July 10, July 17, July 24 and July 31, beginning at 7:30 PM.
In addition to opening for Capital Cities at the Grove Summer Concert Series, Said The Whale are also currently on tour here in the US of A for the first time since 2011. Take a look at the below list of tour dates to see when they are coming your way.
