Belle and Sebastian have a North American tour coming up next week, but in preparation, they have conceptualized a mysterious, intriguing new compilation album, specifically consisting of of B-sides and rarities not easily available to the public. Allegedly it will be called The Third Eye Centre and released via Matador on August 27.
Previously unreleased material that the band gathered during the space of their 2003-2010 career will all, apparently, end up on the album, offering a wide array of music for fans longing to hear raw, remixed, and rare tracks.
A sample can be heard below. This remixed radio edit version of the track “Your Cover’s Blown” was done by Miaoux Miaoux.
