Babyshambles will be releasing Sequel to the Prequel this September, making it their first new album since 2007’s Shotter’s Nation.
While the album is set for release September 2nd, the first single off it, “Nothing Comes To Nothing”, is expected out August 26th. It’s exciting news for fans after years of speculation Babyshambles were done, and wouldn’t reunite for another album. To this, frontman Pete Doherty has been quoted as saying:
I don’t want this to be half arsed, I want to get up there and really fu*king smash it out. Babyshambles aren’t back, this band has always been here.
Babyshambles are scheduled to play a few of their first-ever shows in Australia this month, and will be making stops throughout Europe this fall.
