While the 2013 rendition of the Austin Psych Fest already wrapped up this Spring, the folks behind the festival, The Reverberation Appreciation Society, are excited to announce they are expanding to an international location this Fall.
This will be the first time since the festival’s inception in 2008 that they will be hosting an international event, and it was through their collaborating with French partners Radical Production that Levitation – France will be held this September 20-21.
In April 2013, bands such as Black Mountain, Os Mutantes, The Raveonettes and Black Rebel Motorcycle Club played at the 6th Annual Psych Fest in Austin, while bands such as The Black Angels will have played at both Austin and France’s installations by year’s end.
Below is a look at the lineup announced for Levitation – France thus far, to be held at Le Chabada, in Angers, located approximately 300km from Paris. A full lineup will be announced next month, but two-day passes, on sale for 40 euros, are already available for the festival here.
