British indie favorites Arctic Monkeys are set to embark on a Fall North American tour in support of their upcoming album, AM. It kicks off mid September in Ontario, immediately following the record’s release, and will bounce around the U.S. until the finale performance at Austin City Limits mid October.
AM will be the fifth studio album Arctic Monkeys have released since forming in 2002, following up 2011’s critically acclaimed Suck It and See. Recorded in the California musical hotspot Joshua Tree, it features some special guests including Josh Homme of Queens of the Stone Age. The first single, “Do I Wanna Know?,” is already in high standing on the UK music charts.
Tickets for Toronto, Oakland, Baton Rouge, Chattanooga and Nashville go on sale June 28th; Philadelphia, Chicago and Los Angeles are available June 29th. Sales for all dates open up at 10am PST except for Baton Rouge at 11am PST. Tickets for the festival performances can be purchased at the respective event’s website.
