Summer Sonic 2013 Reveals Lineup Featuring Metallica, Muse, The Smashing Pumpkins, and More

Japan’s Summer Sonic rock music festival has announced it’s extensive 2013 lineup of both Japanese and international acts. The two day event bagged some classic performers like Cream and Earth Wind & Fire to play alongside contemporary musicians including M.I.A. and Fall Out Boy.

Summer Sonic will take over two of the largest cities in Japan August 10th and 11th for two days (and nights) of non-stop music. The festival, which has taken place every year since 2000, is held in both Chiba (Tokyo) and Osaka, with many of the bands switching days to accommodate both audiences. Tickets, especially for Tokyo, are selling out quick, so go to the festival website to snag your place in the crowd.
