Punk sister duet, Bleached, recently released a music video for their song “Dead In Your Head” off of Ride Your Heart in preparation for their upcoming tour. Keeping it simple, the sister’s play in the video amongst a kaleidoscope of colors intertwined with a static buzz.
After parting with former LA-based punk band Mika Miko, who toured with the likes of No Age, Black Lips, and The Gossip, sisters Jessica and Jennifer Clavin took on their own project in the form of the band Bleached. Following up on the April release Ride Your Heart, the duo released a new music video for album track “Dead In Your Head.” Combing bright, flowery graphics reminiscent of the 70s free love era with the jarringly bright, static-filled style popular on 80s MTV, the video paints a contrasting visual of friendly and sinister. The use of styles from different decades is consistent with their influences, which range from The Ramones and The Cars to The Rolling Stones and Fleetwood Mac.
