Indie darlings, Arcade Fire, are set to release their first album since the Grammy award-winning “The Suburbs” on September 9th. LCD Soundsystem’s lead man, James Murphy, is confirmed to be working with the band on their upcoming release.
Although Arcade Fire has been quiet on the matter of a follow-up album, they have announced the official release date of September 9th for the yet unnamed project. As Consequence of Sound reported, there has also been confirmation that James Murphy will be collaborating with them on at least three tracks. Building up suspense even more, the band teased fans with a preview at a secret show late last year. With such a massive, unexpected success from “The Suburbs,” fans and critics will be interested to see if Arcade Fire’s next album can live up to the hype.
