Wilco gave fans a treat last Friday at the Solid Sound Festival in North Adams, MA. The band played a 27-song set that included an exciting cover of Daft Punk’s recent single “Get Lucky” from their May 2013 studio album Random Access Memories.
Last Friday, at the Solid Sound Festival in North Adams, MA, Wilco played their third-annual show. The set covered the span of five decades of music and an epic 27-songs, including a wildly entertaining cover of Daft Punk’s latest single “Get Lucky.” The song is hot off of the French duo’s fourth studio album Random Access Memories. The album debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Top 200 and broke records on Spotify. “Get Lucky” has certainly become a Summer favorite for new and long-time fans in the past few weeks. In early June, Daft Punk confirmed they would be releasing a remix of the single this July. Since the announcement, The Roots performed a completely original and fun cover of “Get Lucky” via an audience member suggestion on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon. More recently, Wilco, have added momentum to Random Access Memories‘ excitement by performing the hit single to an openly enthusiastic crowd at the Solid Sound Festival on June 21st.
