Indie-pop darlings The Postal Service have released the official video for their song “A Tattered Line Of String.” The track remained unreleased until the Give Up 10th Anniversary Edition came out early last month.

The video, featuring one of two unreleased tracks that appear on the Anniversary re-issue of their 2003 LP, premiered live on YouTube earlier this afternoon. Give Up, the only original album The Postal Service put out, went platinum last year, nearly ten years after it’s creation. Their ongoing reunion tour in support of the new album has been one of the most widely anticipated in quite some time. Jenny Lewis (of Rilo Kiley), who contributed vocals and keyboards to Give Up and went along for the supporting tour ten years ago, has joined them for another go around. Her vocals can be heard on “String.”
The band will debut the song on television with a performance tomorrow night on the Colbert Report. The Give Up Deluxe 10th Anniversary Edition is out now on Sub Pop.
