2013 is like the year that the ’90’s came back to haunt us all. The Dandy Warhols are touring, as is Nine Inch Nails, and The Postal Service too. My Bloody Valentine came out with a new album that still sounds like it’s 1991, and Depeche Mode is performing on late night talk shows. Also, the idea of vintage dial-up modem cafes is being thrown around(what?). Good or bad, it seems everyone is jonesing for some 1990-nostalgia. It’s a matter of personal opinion, like anything else, where Courtney Love falls on the spectrum of ’90’s loves and hates, but she’s a legend, and a rock n’ roll veteran nonetheless. Get out your favorite pair of ripped tights, and gash red lipstick.
