Infected Mushroom, the Israeli psychedelic dance group, has recently announced that the second segment of their EP series, Friends on Mushrooms Vol.2, is scheduled for release on July 2nd via Dim Mak Records.
The four-track EP features several collaborators, including Electronic artist Savant in “Savant on Mushrooms,” New Zealand singer Kels in “Now is Gold,” and Norwegian duo Pegboard Nerds in “Pegboard on Mushrooms.” The EP’s final track, “Trance Party,” showcases Infected Mushroom’s members, Amit Duvdevani and Erez Eisen, without guests and promises to appeal to Infected Mushroom’s current fans as well as the group’s next generation of listeners.
Vol. 2 shows the group’s unique ability to incorporate complex soundscapes in their music and forge new sonic territory – an ability that will undoubtedly provide an exciting new experience for their listeners. The group’s upcoming tour on their American Fungus Among Us stage will include an innovative 3D landscape designed to take the listener even further into another dimension.
