Daft Punk has had a great week of accomplishments. Now, they’re announcing a 10 minute remix of “Get Lucky” that will be released in July.
The remix is already available through a French website, with a release date set for July 15th. Amazon.com is taking pre-orders as well.
Bangalter had acknowledged working on remixes to BBC Radio 1 last month. Stating,
we never mix ourselves, that’s something we feel we’re interested in doing this time
If fans are responsive to the band’s new endeavors, perhaps more remixes will follow.
The band’s new album, Random Access Memories, has had quite couple of weeks on the charts. If you just can’t wait for the 10-minute remix to be released, check out the band’s commercials for Lotus, their Japanese bonus track, and hope for them to go on tour this summer or fall.
