Since the release of their previous album, Volume Two in 2010, the harmonious duo, indie-pop group She & Him, have been evolving their solo projects along with releasing their latest album Volume 3. Zooey Deschanel and M. Ward are the creative masterminds behind this critically-acclaimed group. Deschanal has solidified her career as a television sitcom actress in popular Fox Network series “New Girl,” even writing the hit-series theme song. During this same time Ward was touring the world for his latest solo album, A Wasteland Companion. The duo came together to collaborate on Volume 3 which features finger snapping tracks oozing of pop. This album truly compliments She & Him’s body of work as a whole and fans will love their latest video projects.

“I Could’ve Been Your Girl” video features odd-ball and original storytelling that marries well with the euphoric and quirky musical performances in the song. It truly is a video for the senses with a compilation of background dancers, a lovers quarrel, and Deschanel’s artistically comedic solo-clips, with what appear to be random objects. It gives the viewer a treat for the eyes as well as a puzzle for the brain. Definitely represents the light-hearted and universal songwriting that is She & Him.
